Mother Teresa
Odd that only the pure of heart can kneel.
They kneel in prayer, like this couple of old nuns,
Seemingly left behind by time and technology,
They kneel to thank God they didn't get caught up in it.

After seeking redemption one sneaks a phone
From her pocket, drops a gang sign and
Instagrams a selfie from the edge of theological oblivion:
Odd that only the self-indulgent can influence!
