Aristotle Tutoring Alexander (Jean Leon Gerome Ferris)
Outside, the clouds battle one another,
the wind commanding them in conflict.

They rise up against one another
and the campaign drenches us.

Slowly, this army plunders the sky,

deepening, thickening of pluming bluster.

At last the impact arouses sleeping giants
and their blinking warning injects jittering glare.

Their collision drops upon the valleys
and the blanket is lifted on secret magnificence.
