Earth Day 2020
Happiness would be the quenched
coal-fired power stations too late

It's could be the black heart oil well
capped receding regretfully overdue

It will be skeletal fingers provoking
division cascade to run away to midnight

All who see him will fear the deliverance
he brings crashing

All who hear his silent call will fall
into the despair and the darkness

The ashes of the worlds now
disperse into the aether

The end is ushered in
to claim the happiness

And from that flaming nucleus
is seeded again hope.

J. Robert Oppenheimer, American theoretical physicist, was born today in 1904.

Earth Day is celebrated across the globe.
