The Battle of Naseby
The battle lines were drawn on the day she received her vagina -
Her virgin scar.
Although she didn't choose the burden of that box
She'll have to wait, like the rest of us, in order to tick it.
And above, the "man" who made her smiled when "he"
cut her so.
"He" is still pleased with "his" design.
Her lines are not too pretentious, not too extravagant.
And she has spirit,
                   enough for all her kindness,
she'll need it for the scrap.
"He" expected her to charge right in,
                                     despite all the drawn blood.
She'll call for the cavalry and follow them to the end...
Into the valley of #MeToo rode the three and a half billion.

The Battle of Naseby, decisive to the First English Civil war, was fought today in 1645 near the village of Naseby, in Northamptonshire.

Emmeline Pankhurst, British political activist, died today in 1928.
